Detention of ex-Economic Development Minister prolonged for more six months

The detention period of the former Economic Development Minister Farhad Aliyev was prolonged for more six months, Ramis Mammadov told.

He said Nesimi district court Judge Famil Nesibov desided to prolong his detention period for more six months because, the investigation have not yet ended. Farhad Aliyev is in National Security Ministry jail now.

The former minister was arrested on October 19 last year. Criminal case was launched on Criminal Code article 179, 28.220 and 308 against him, APA reports.
