Land can also be given as security when taking out a mortgage

By the decision of the Management Board of National Bank of Azerbaijan, a number amendments and modifications were made to "Requirements of the authorized banks to issue mortgages".

As APA reports, lands (lots) can also be left as security when taking out a mortgage. A flat and house had been left as security before.

Besides, National Bank of Azerbaijan has also included Azerbaijan Credit Bank OJSC to the list of the authorized banks.

The number of the authorized banks to give a mortgage has reached 17.
