Azerbaijan imported 3309.5mn c.m of gas from Russia in January-September

SOCAR purchased 324mn cubic meters of natural gas from Russian Gasexport Company in September to supply for power stations.

As APA reports that 3309.5mn cubic meters of natural gas have been imported from Russia during the period of January-September (12.2mn cubic meters per day).

Azerbaijan plans to import 372mn cubic meters of gas from Russia in October (12mn c.m. a day).

According to the agreement signed with Gasexport, Russia will export 4.5bn cubic meters of gas to Azerbaijan in 2006.
