03 October 2006 [09:13] - TODAY.AZ
The Central Market in Azerbaijani southern region of Lenkeran sells old and harmful products for health, Habil Sadigov, Lenkeran Hygienic and Epidemiology Center (HEC) director told.

He said the region HEC has proved it in the raid conducted by Lenkeran Police Department, Veterinarian Office and "Lenkeran-bazar" OJSC last Saturday.

Different products without certificate and date of production were found and removed from markets.

Most of them were cheese and other dairy products, candies and sausages imported from Iran. Penalty of AZN 300 was imposed on six sellers, APA reports.
