Chinese cars' assembling launched in Azerbaijan

According to Khanlar Fathiyev, head of Ganja Motor Works the first component parts for assembling of Chinese 'Changan' model have been delivered to the Ganja Motor Assembling Works.

The first consignment will consist of complete sets to assembly 18 cars. The future car model was named 'Ganja.'

According to Mr. Fatiyev, the carrier-company has a responsibility for the delay with the delivery of the component parts to be delivered even in August 2006. The works is about to choose a new company to deliver component parts.

According to the Head of the Enterprise, the specialists of Changan have also arrived in Azerbaijan from China. They will observe the assembling of the cars. On completing all the works, a presentation of the new cars will be held. Meanwhile, the preliminary cost of the cars is estimated at 6.000-9.000 AZN. ANS
