16 drowned ships lifted from Baku Bay

16 drowned ships were lifted from Baku Bay in the past two years, Letife Huseynova, Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry Monitoring Office chairwoman told.

Other measures are being taken to clean the bay, APA reports.

The chairwoman also said they installed water purification equipment in Buzovna to prevent dirty water flood to the sea. Some other equipment is expected to be installed soon.
