Favorable balance of trade with CIS made $784mn in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan's trade with faraway country yielded favorable balance of $1 096.563mn and trade with CIS member states resulted in unfavorable balance of $784.2883mn during January-August of the year.

As APA reports, Azerbaijani residents and nonresidents exported goods of $3 095.3589mn to foreign countries (excluding CIS countries) which is 84.91% of the total export and imported goods of $1 998.7959mn (59.74% of the total import) from foreign countries (excluding CIS) during this period.

Residents and nonresidents exported goods of $562.7354mn to CIS countries (15.38% of the total export) and imported goods of $1 347.0238mn (40.26% of the total import).

Azerbaijan exported mineral fuel, oil and oil products, bitumen, polymer, aluminum fruits, nonorganic chemicals to foreign countries and imported electronic equipment and devices, ferrous metals, furniture and transport facilities.
