To enhance the bilateral relations between Dubai and Azerbaijan, Abdul Rahman G. Al-Mutaiwee, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry Director General, received Parviz Ismailzadeh, Azeri Consul General to Dubai.

Al-Mutaiwee welcomed his Azeri guest and discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them. He briefed the Azeri Consul to the Chamber's role in bolstering the economic movement in Dubai and supporting the businessmen's competitiveness in their pursuit of developing their activities and enabling them to effectively communicate with their counterparts locally, regionally and internationally.

"The participation of Azeri organizations in the international exhibitions and fairs organized in Dubai annually should be elevated in order for them to further market their products and services due to the large number of visits paid by tradesmen, businessmen and investors from different countries to these events seeking new products and services for their markets," said Al-Mutaiwee.

For his part, Parviz Ismailzadeh, Azeri Consul General to Dubai, extended his thanks and appreciations to DCCI for the opportunity to discuss the bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in all sectors including oil and gas industry, agriculture and education. He also expressed his government's readiness to encourage the Azeri businessmen and investors to engage in investment enterprises in Dubai in different economic sectors.
