Draft State Budget 2007 submitted to President after discussion

The discussion was attended by Premier Artur Rasizade, Finance Minister Samir Sharifov, Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev and other governmental officials.

Director of finance and credit sector of the Cabinet, Ogtay Hagverdiyev, told that amendments were not made to the draft during the discussion and it would be submitted to the President today.

The growth of the Draft Budget for 2007 is a 39.7% rise as against this year's.

The incomes and expenditures of the State Budget are AZN 5361.5mn and AZN 5740.5mn respectively. Social expenditures increased by 20 percent but the percentage of these expenditures are not big in the structure of the spending.
