Azerbaijan, WTO to continue talks

Next round of negotiations between Azerbaijan and the World Trade Organization will take place in Geneva later this year.

It is planned to organize talks between Azerbaijan and Turkey as well as the EU before the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev said, APA reports.

"Member states require us to conform the laws to international standards, in particular the WTO standards. Anyway, Azerbaijan is interested in the improvement of economic legislation in order to ensure economic development. An action plan has been developed in the sphere," hew underscored.
