WB mission visits Azerbaijan

World Bank Mission on the project of support for railway transport and trade has visited Baku.

As APA reports, the delegation will be on visit up to September 26.

The delegation headed by Gerald Olivier will discuss preliminary preparation of the project with Azerbaijan's Transportation Ministry and State Railway Company.

The initial cost of the project is not exact but the credits will be allocated under terms of IBRD.

The World Bank intends to allow 1.2bn loan to Azerbaijan within 2006-2009 Project of Strategy Cooperation with the Country.
