NBA gives chance to banks lacking authorized capital

National Bank of Azerbaijan has given extra time to 3-4 banks which authorized capital is under AZN 6.4mn.

NBA told APA that an additional month was given to them to reach the authorized capital minimum limit.

Up to July 1, 2008, authorized capital of the banks has to exceed AZN 10 mn. As of July 1, 2006 the aggregate capital of Azerbaijani banks made up AZN 473.5 mn.
