Barmek officials' trial to start September 13

Preparatory trial hearing was held today on the case of Barmek-Azerbaijan Electricity Distribution LLC's six officials at the Grave Crimes Court.

The defendants' lawyers solicited for commuting arrest and dropping the crimes. Their solicitation was dismissed. The trial will start on September 13, APA reports.

The Barmek Energy Import Office former chief Alesger Ramazanov, his assistant Rasim Musayev, Meter Install Department former chief Elnur Mutallimmov, his assistant Firudin Aghayev, Binegedi high voltage electric network former chief engineer Asif Alekberov, Binagadi electric distribution former chief engineer Ahliman Mahmudov were accused on Criminal Code 179.3.2, 308 and 314.2 articles.
