Georgia to finance regional railway project

Georgia will also finance the Baku-Tbilisi-Akhalkalak-Kars railway project.

"We are ready to implement the project," Zurab Gumbaridze, Georgian ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary told the APA.

The Baku-Tbilisi-Akhalkalak-Kars will cost nearly US $420mn. Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian specialists are working on technical and economic sides of the project.
