Azerbaijan, Korea to develop economic cooperation

Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov spoke about friendship ties between Azerbaijan and Korea. Mr. Abbasov told about the significance of the visits of Mr. Roh Moo-hyun, President of Korea to Azerbaijan in May.

Mr. Abbasov added that in the near future, memorandum on cooperation in the field of information technologies between two countries would be sign.

Deputy Minister of Energy, Industry and Trade Lee Won-gul spoke about the agreements signed in May.

Mr. Lee noted that the Korean Republic collaborate with Azerbaijan on five directions. One of them is on Information Technologies. The Deputy Minister said his country believes that it will help to the development of Azerbaijani Information and Communication Technologies.
