SOCAR to construct a pipeline from Shakh Deniz

The construction of a Sangachal-Garadagh-Hajigabul pipeline for receiving a gas from Shakh Deniz field will be implemented by SOCAR.

"By our calculations construction works will start by the end of year and will be finished in H1 2007," Nazim Samedzade, Deputy Head of AzeriGaz company, told journalists, Interfax-Azerbaijan informs.

As it was said earlier, the range of $45 mln Sangachal-Garadagh-Hajigabul pipeline will be 68 km. Gas production from Shakh Deniz is expected to start in Q3 2006.
