First phase of World Bank project in Azerbaijani regions ended

The second phase will start in January 2007, Arif Jahangirov, Ganja Business Group director told, APA reports.

He said the first phase serves raising awareness, establishing information consulting centers and training consultants.

The second phase will serve establishment of practical centers. He said practical centers will be established for plant-growing and cattle-breeding, and products will be demonstrated to farmers.

The goal is to raise farmers’ interest to plant-growing and cattle-breeding.
