Severe penalties to be imposed for not giving receipt at check-outs and evading taxes

Penalties for evading taxes and not giving a receipt to customers at check-out in the shops will have been more severe by this year's end.

Amendments for more severe penalties and punishment worked out by the Taxes Ministry will be discussed at parliament in fall.

The amendments envisage increase of fixed interest rate, more severe penalties and punishment for cash payment law as well as evading taxes, APA reports.
