Azerbaijan imports 10.7 m cu m of gas per day from Russia

SOCAR is currently importing about 10.7 million cubic meters of gas per day average from Russian gas company Gazeksport.

The amount of Russian gas imported to Azerbaijan since the beginning of this year constituted 2,670,300,000 cubic meters.

SOCAR said it plans to purchase a total amount of 4.5 billion cubic meters of gas from Russia in 2006.
