Oil exports from Azerbaijan up 65% in Jan-July

The Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli operator Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) exported 10.664 million tonnes of the oil, up 87%, a source in the State Oil Company of Azerbaijani (SOCAR) told Interfax.

AIOC exports through the Baku-Supsa pipeline amounted to 4.16 million tonnes, with exports through the Baku-Novorossiisk pipe of 2.31 million tonnes, exports by rail to Batumi - 2.93 million tonnes and exports via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline - 1.26 million tonnes.

SOCAR exported 421,400 tonnes, down 58%. SOCAR shipped all its export oil via the Baku-Novorossiisk pipeline.
