Azerbaijan intends to pay off debts to IMF in 2007

Azerbaijan wants to fulfill liabilities to the International Monetary by next year end.

As APA reports, Azerbaijan owes IMF $150mn and this amount is planned to be paid back in 2007.

Azerbaijan has been cooperating with IMF since 1992 and having a quota of 160.9mn SDR (about $250mn). Azerbaijan receives IMF credits with an interest rate of 0.5%.
