Over 20 agricultural trade fairs held in Baku

The objective of the two-day fairs is to prevent artificial increase of prices of agricultural products in domestic market. This initiative is a part of relevant complex measures implemented by the Agriculture Ministry.

The agricultural products on these fairs were produced in Lenkeran, Jalilabad, Astara, Salyan, Khachmaz, Tovuz regions of Azerbaijan. These products are offered to consumers with twice cheap prices.

The Ministry also said special headquarters has been established for controlling organization of these fairs, sale and markets. Minister Ismet Abbasov while observing the fair told journalists that these events will be further organized in order to prevent artificial rise in prices of products. Current prices in domestic market have declined by 30%-50% now.
