New project offers online transactions for card holders

The local Bank of Baku, jointly with the Baku Electronics company, has tackled implementation of the one-of-the-kind project in Azerbaijan enabling holders of plastic cards to buy and sell goods and services via the Internet.

Customers willing to use the option can access the company's website to carry out the transactions, regardless of the type of cards, with no extra charge.

The new e-banking system enables provision of convenient, safe and prompt services.
From now onward, clients of other banks will also be able to benefit from online services, AssA-Irada reports.
