Top Azeri delegation to attend BTC opening in Turkey

"This event is of great importance for our country and regional states. The Azerbaijani President will be therefore accompanied by a large delegation and media representatives," the head of the President's Office international relations department, Novruz Mammadov, told journalists.

According to AssA-Irada, Mammadov said the ceremonies of transporting Azeri oil from the Ceyhan port will be organized in several cities of Turkey. A dinner party with the participation of Azeri, Georgian and Turkish presidents as well as high-ranking officials from foreign countries will be held in Istanbul on Wednesday.

On the next day, the delegates will travel to the Ceyhan port by special vehicles to attend the ceremony of loading Azeri oil into tankers for its further transportation to the world markets.
