Energy ministers of 5 states signed agreement on Caspian Sea gas

Bulgaria and Romania will participate in transference of Caspian Sea gas to Europe.

As APA reports, after Austria, Hungary and Turkey official Sofia and Bucharest have joined the Nabucco pipe project which will transfer gas extracted from Caspian Sea region to Central Europe.

Energy ministers of 5 states have come to an accord on completing implementation of projects by 2011.

The volume of the project is about 4,6 billion Euro. 5 firms –Botash, (Turkey), Bulgargaz (Bulgaria), Transgaz (Romania), Mol (Hungary) and OMV Gas (Austria) have signed an agreement on establishing organization to construct the pipe in the length of 3 300 km. European Union approved of the project which will decrease gas dependence of the continent from Russia.
