Belarus sold 19 tanks to Azerbaijan in 2005

Belarus sold 19 T-72 tanks to Azerbaijan last year. This is stated in the report on sale of ordinary weapons in the world weapon market that Belarus presented to the UN.

According to APA, Belarus sold weapons to Slovakia and Jibuti last year. The volume of the contract for weapons sale is not made public.

According to the UN calculations, last year Belarus sold the least amount of weapons in the past ten years. It is specialized in sale of armored tank, planes, helicopters, artillery systems, missiles to foreign states.
