SOFAZ executive director meets NGO coalition members

As AzerTAg reports, NGO representatives pointed to the accomplishments of Azerbaijan since the country committed itself to the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative and put forth their proposals on the prospects of the further activity in this sphere.

Mr. Movsumov praised the cooperation between the National Committee on EITI and NGO Coalition and expressed his hope in continuity of this process.

It was noted during the meeting that the Azerbaijan government will continue its policy towards implementation of the EITI commitments.
