Azerenergy installs meters in 46 regional centers

APA was told from OJSC Azerenergy Press Service referring to Mehradj Asgarov, the Chief of LLC Azerenergy Tikinti.

According To Mr. Asgarov, SIP cable method is already begun to be implemented in 46 regional centers of the country. Almost most part of required equipment – pedestals, meters, cables and technical facilities.

The new method of the installation process is of great importance for energy system. All of the 0,4 kV lines will be dismantled after the process is started and new mainlines will run from transformers to the addresses of subscribers. Thus, disallowed intervention in meters will be prevented.

Asgarov has noted that measures will be taken first in regional centers of Lenkoran, Astara, Yevlakh, Sabirabad, Aghjabedi and Gabala. The area will be extended afterwards. Required equipment have been sent to Lenkoran Power Transmission Network and the process of installation of meters will be started soon there.
