SOCAR had 6639 operational wells by June 1

Except for operational companies and joint-ventures, State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) had 6639 operational wells June 1.

APA reports that 4916 of those wells are active, 1713 are inactive, and 10 wells are under exploitation.

SOCAR drilled 15 068 meter wells in last month except for operational companies and joint-ventures. In general, SOCAR has drilled 54 259 meter wells since early 2006 except for operational companies and joint-ventures. 54 009 meters of wells were drilled for exploitation purposes while 250 meters were for exploration purposes.
