Exxon buys first Azeri Light cargo from Ceyhan

U.S. oil major ExxonMobil has bought a 2.2 million barrel cargo with Azeri Light crude, the first ever being loaded at the Turkish port of Ceyhan, thus marking the launch of a huge pipeline from Azerbaijan.

According to Reuters news agency, an official from the Azeri state oil firm Socar said on Friday the cargo would load on May 27-28.
