Shahmar Movsumov appointed Head of State Oil Fund

The President's press service informed APA about it. Prior to this position Mr. Movsumov has worked in the National (Central) Bank system since 1995. He was director-general of the National Bank.

Movsumov was born in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in 1972. He graduated from the Moscow State International Relations Institute, faculty of international economical relations. He got master's degree on state management named after John Kennedy in Harvard University. Movsumov was candidate for a degree in the Azerbaijan Economic University. He attended different training courses in the United States and in Europe. He can speak English, French, and Turkish. He is married and has one child.
