Azerbaijan starts to export sugar

Azerbaijani Sugary Production Association has exported its first products to Georgia today.

Azersun Holding press service told APA that 400 tones of Azerbaijani sugar were sent to Georgia on Saturday.

Azersun Holding Group of Companies vice-president Salahaddin Hun recalled that Imishli Sugar-refinery plant started a while ago.

"This plant produces sugar meeting world standards. I hope that Azerbaijan will be able to provide other neighboring countries with sugar as well."
