Standardization agency reveals misconducts at Azerbaijan's gas stations

State Agency for Standardization, Patents and metrology revealed some events of misconduct at Azerbaijan's gas stations.

Ramiz Hasanov, the chairman of the agency, said the agency did not make any claims on the fuel quality at these stations, but figured out the problems with equipment, in particular the counters, adjusted to deliver less fuel than displayed by gages.

"According to the legislation, counters will be checked quarterly," Mr Hasanov said.

The checkups started April 1, Trend reports.
