The Supervisory Board of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) recently convened to discuss key operational and sustainability performance outcomes.
According to Azernews, the meeting, led by SOCAR Supervisory Board Chairman and Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, focused on the company’s audited performance for the first half of 2024, a review of the 2023 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and budget forecasts for 2024.
The board also discussed SOCAR’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals, reviewing the findings from a study on SOCAR’s ESG rating and other strategic issues.
These discussions underscore SOCAR’s commitment to enhancing transparency and sustainability within its operations.
