Parviz Shahbazov to attend Ministerial Meeting of World Fusion Energy Group

The Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov, has traveled to Italy, Azernews reports, citing Ministry of Energy.

The minister will attend the first Ministerial Meeting of the World Fusion Energy Group (WFEG) of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which will be held in Rome on November 6.

The event, co-chaired by Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi, will focus on adopting an inclusive and global approach to the development of nuclear fusion energy, and promoting global efforts within the WFEG framework.

During the event, the Energy Minister is expected to deliver a speech and hold bilateral meetings.
