Shortage of coins in passenger transport is because of weak relations of transport enterprises with banks

This explanation was given by the Chair of the Board of the National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA) Elman Rustamov.

Mr.Rustamov said that private banks were superfluously provided with coins and it was possible to get coins from banks anytime.

If passenger transporting enterprises open accounts in banks, they will not experience this problem.

The NBA chair also noted that the central bank has already presented its proposals on privatization of state banks to the working group established under the State Committee for State Property Management, APA reports.
