Azerbaijan falls short of OPEC+ production quota in August

In August 2024, Azerbaijan's daily oil production, including condensate, totaled 480,000 barrels, falling short of its "OPEC+" production quota by 71,000 barrels, Azernews reports.

According to a report by S&P Global Commodity Insights, Azerbaijan's production quota for 2024 was set at 551,000 barrels per day, as agreed upon at the 36th meeting of the OPEC+ ministers.

This shortfall indicates that Azerbaijan has been unable to meet its production targets within the framework of the "OPEC+" agreement.
