Construction of 7 more bridges to start in Baku by July

In general, works on projection of bridges and passages of the capital ate intended to be completed by November. APA was informed about it from the secretariat of the Ministry of Transport.

The new bridges will be constructed in 20 January district, 3rd microdistrict, at the intersection of Ataturk and Z.Bunyadov Avenues, and Z.Bunyadov and Azadliq Avenues, near the Ramstore shopping centre, and other places where traffic is intensive.

Besides, construction of passages in S.Vurghun and R.Behbudov Streets will be started late in April and early in May.

It should be noted that construction of the first two bridges was started in March 15 in Azizbayov district and Tbilisi Avenue. According to the initial calculations, the first bridge will cost $30 million, and the second one $8 million. Generally, more than $150 million is expected to be spent for building of all bridges.
