Cooperation agreement between Turkey and Azerbaijan to be signed

A protocol on economic cooperation promotion between the Small and Medium Industry Development and Support Office (SMIDSO) of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Turkey and Ministry of Economic Development (MED) of Azerbaijan will signed in Istanbul on April 14.

As APA was informed from the press-service of MED, the protocol would be signed by the head of the Ministry's Office Samir Veliyev from Azerbaijan, and head of SMIDSO Erkan Gurkan from Turkey. The document provides establishment of the Coordination Centre to promote cooperation between small and medium entrepreneurship subjects acting in both countries and to ensure information supply.

The new organization will develop relations between small and medium-size enterprises of turkey and Azerbaijan, exchange information and new technologies, coordinate joint investment and other issues, and support expansion of mutual cooperation.

Establishment of the Centre is also aimed at experience exchange between institutions supporting small and medium-size enterprises, mutual usage of information database on small and medium-size enterprises, and organization of visits for training and awareness purposes.
