Akif Musayev: "Beneficial tax system to stimulate foreign investments"

The president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev has earlier said at the opening of the sugar factory in Imishli, about the creation of the beneficial taxation system to attract the foreign investments.

Absence in the taxation divisions for local and foreign businessmen is one of the stimulating factors in the taxation system of the country, Musayev said. They all have equal rights. On the other hand foreign investors first of all interested in the stable tax policies.

"Azerbaijan does have a really stable taxation policy, i.e. list of taxes is not changing, and their rates always decrease but never increase. This is a good factor stimulating arrival of foreign investors to Azerbaijan," he said.

According to Trend, another important factor is possibility to repatriate abroad finances earned in the country, without any obstacles on the part of taxation policies.

There are also a number of benefits for investors in agriculture sectors, who are obliged to pay only soil tax. More benefits are introduced this year to boost investments.
