Azeri oil market: results of week

From 13 through 17 March AZERI LT average price, sold by Azerbaijan in Novorossiysk port, was $63.71 per barrel or $1.70 per barrel down as compared to the previous week.

Maximal price of AZERI LT was $64.60 per barrel, while minimal price was fixed at $62.46 per barrel, Trend reports.

Last week price of URAL (EX-NOVO), marketed at the Novorossiysk port, was $56.78 per barrel, or $1.36 per barrel down than the average price of the previous week. The density of oil URAL is 31.85 degrees by API, sulphur content – 1.8%.

URAL maximal price comprised $57.75, minimal one - $55.45 per barrel.

Brent average price (DTD) was $62.35 per barrel ($2.63 down). Brent maximal price comprised $63.39, minimal price of Brent was $60.88 per barrel.

The density of Azeri Light is 34.6 degrees by API, sulphur content – 0.14%.

The density of oil URAL is 32 degrees by API, sulphur content - 1.3%. The density of oil DTD is 38.3 degrees by API, sulphur content - 0.36%. The density of URAL is 32 degrees by API, the sulphur content – 1.3%. The density of DTD oil is 38.3 degrees by API, the sulphur content – 0.36%.

From May to December (includingly) the SOCAR intends to sell from the Novorossiysk over 1.76 million tons of Urals. In 2006 the SOCAR planed to ship from the port 2,011 million tons of Urals against 1,631 million tons in 2005.

Until the exploitation of the BTC the SOCAR intends to export 80,000-85,000 tons of oil a month. Following the commissioning of the BTC, which is scheduled for early May-late June, the "northern route" will be filly under SOCAR's disposal.
