President visits TPG-500 sea platform

President Ilham Aliyev visited building site of TPG-500 sea platform and its underwater foundations on Zykh, within the frames of Shah-Deniz project March 22.

According to Trend, the President observed the building site and met with the management and personnel.

SOCAR owns the building site in Zykh. It was upgraded and improved by Shah-Deniz and BP partners.

Zykh building site at the present moment has a number of high-quality workshops, offices and quay sites. Technip Maritime Offshore LTD is also using the site for the platform building. 3500 personnel served the site work, including 80% of Azerbaijani citizens.
