Turkish Ambassador: "Turkey and Azerbaijan are able to protect the BTC"

According to Ambassador the issue of establishing special armed forces for protecting BTC is not under discussion: "Establishing of special forces, their coordination and allocation is a long process. We can help Georgia to secure the BTC section passing through its territory".

Ambassador confirmed, that Georgia already asked oil companies for assistance in protection of the BTC. As coming to the problem that Kurd militants and terrorists may attack the pipeline in Turkey, the ambassador underscored that there will be no problem, APA informs.
