Baku Telephone Communications plans to render IP-TV services

The Baku Telephone Communication Production Association (BTC PA) plans to render IP-TV services to its users from late March or early April, Trend reports referring to Khankishi Kishiyev, the head of BTC PA.

IP-TV services will be applied first in the Baku-Khatayi and the Yasamal telecommunication hubs.

The enterprise regards the tariffs for the services as acceptable. The further plans of the Ministry include application of the IP-TV services in the regions of the country in the future.

IP-TV is broadcasting of unlimited number of TV programs (40) through cable and satellite TV.

The application of the IP-TV services is carried out through the application of the NGN (Next Generation Network) technology.
