IFC prolongs Azerbaijan leasing project for another year

According to Aliya Azimova, head of IFC Baku office, Swiss SECO Company, which funds the project has also aproved the prolongation. Besides, IFC allocated means for funding leasing projects in Azerbaijan and in Central Asia as well, ANS informs.

A regional fund has been formed. USD 30 million is allocated to theses countries within the fund. The means are mainly long termed- they are given for 5-7 years. IFC has allocated more than USD 400 million as credit and technical aid for funding projects in Azerbaijan since 1996.
