Module power stations to be built simultaneously

Creating of two groups will allow building of the stations simultaneously and speeding-up implementation of the project, Trend reports referring to a news release spread by the Company.

One group will be involved in the construction of the station in Shaki, other - Khachmaz. Mobilization of equipment and technique, as well as preparations for the construction started in the both regions.

The Company also supposes to construct 4 power stations in Shaki, Nakhchivam, Khachmaz and Baku that will increase the capacity of the national energy system by around 450-460MW. Fuel consumption at module stations comprises approximately 270 grams of standard fuel. Efficiency of plant comprises around 46%. Finnish Wartsila, general contractor, in cooperation with Azerenerji and ??? completed construction of module power station in Astara.
