AZN 5.5 million of credit portfolio of "Zaminbank" falls to the share of consumer credits

"Zaminbank" OJSC increased its assets by 32.6% during the past year to AZN 15.956 million by the beginning of 2006.

As APA reports, the credit portfolio of "Zaminbank" totaled AZN 13.284 million by the beginning of this year and it exceeds the previous year figure by 23.2%.

It is interesting that its significant part (AZN 5.5 million) falls to the share of consumer credits.

Bank's aggregate liabilities consisted of AZN 10.636 million increasing by 30.8% in the reporting year. Total volume of attracted deposits increased by 12.1% during the year and totaled AZN 3.813 million by January 1.

At the same time, volume of savings of population amounted to AZN 2.147 million and it is 3.7% less compared to previous year.

It should be noted that aggregate capital of Zaminbank increased by 29.4% to AZN 5.044 million to January 1, 2006, and paid-up capital consisted of approximately AZN 5 million.
