"Standard Insurance" Company doubled the volume of insurance premiums collected last year

The "Standard Insurance" Company collected AZN 6.2 million (AZM31 billion or $6.8 million) of insurance premiums last year and it exceeds the previous year's indicator twice.

As APA informs, the Company was included to the first three of participants of the domestic insurance market for the volume of collected insurance premiums.

AZN 2.91 million entered from vehicle insurance, AZN 1.96 million from property insurance, AZN 0.38 million from liability insurance, AZN 0.34 million from personal accident insurance, AZN 0.28 million from medical insurance, AZN 0.27 million from freight insurance, and AZN 0.06 million from insurance of other transport means.

Volume of payments made by the "Standard Insurance" Company totaled AZN 0.97 million (AZM 4.8 billion or $1.1 million) in the report year. It should be noted that, the ownership capital of the "Standard Insurance" Company amounts AZN 2 million (AZM 10 billion or $2.2 million) to the beginning of 2006.

The administration of the Company intends to double the ownership capital and increase it to AZN 4 million this year.
