HUAWEI Company of China to apply CDMA technologies in Nakhchivan

Wireless communication system based on the CDMA technologies is established in the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan (ARN).

According to the contract signed between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Nakhchivan and HUAWEI Company of China, the Chinese specialists are establishing a station in Nakhchivan city at present, APA informs.

It should be noted that main directions of application of the CDMA technologies are overland wireless telephone networks, cellular and satellite communication systems. As to the possibilities of the technology to be applied, the system has several advantages.

First of all communication will be enabled in territories where it is impossible or difficult to install cables; documentation and installation of telephones, protection of calls, displaying dialing number and other possibilities will be enabled as well.

Despite CDMA is the wireless communication system, users of this service will be able to easily connect to the Internet. It should be noted that the Ministry also prepared a respective project for this system to cover the whole territory of the Autonomous Republic within the newt years.

Pursuant to the project, special measures will be taken for establishing roaming communication with other operators in this field.
