Energy mission of World Bank came to Baku

The energy mission of the World Bank (WB) led by the WB leading specialist Bjorn Hamson came to Baku yesterday.

According to the information given to APA from the WB Baku Office, the mission will be familiarized with the course of the "Electricity transmission system" project implemented at the expense of WB credits in Azerbaijan. The mission gathering information about the course of the project will also discuss the gas system project with the Azerbaijani government and the issues of cooperation will be reviewed.

WB granted $48 million credit for the "Electricity transmission system" project. The credit was given at LIBOR+0.5% for a period of 20 years under the terms of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development included in the WB group.
